Albarracín
Albarracín is a town of about 1,000 people (2018) in the province of Teruel in Aragon. Albarracín is surrounded by stony hills and the town was declared a Monumento Nacional in 1961. The many red sandstone boulders and cliffs surrounding Albarracín make it a popular rock climbing location, particularly for boulderers.

The town is located in a meander of the Guadalaviar River. The Sierra de Albarracín mountain range rises to the South and West of the town.

- 🌍 Albarracín Cathedral. 16th-century Roman Catholic church.
- 🌍 Muralla. 11th-century walls built by the Moors that lead up to the Torre del Andador. Both were built during the Taifa Kingdom, an independent Islamic kingdom in the 11th and 12th centurues.
