  • Church of Bom Jesus do Saivá (Igreja de Bom Jesus do Saivá), Praça Carlos Cavalcanti (near the train station). Construction began on this church sometime between 1789 and 1817.
  • Church of Nossa Senhora do Pilar (Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Pilar). Founded in 1714.
  • Church of St. Benedict (Igreja de São Benedito), Rua Dr. Carlos Gomes da Costa. Served as a refuge for the slaves.
  • Train Station (Estação Ferroviária), +55 41 3432-4520. Built in 1916
