Attingal

Attingal is a town in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala State, India.

It is the second biggest town in Thiruvananthapuram District. Headquarters of Chiyrinkil Taluk. National Highway (NH47) is passing through this town. It is the main stop between Thiruvananthapuram and Quilon (Kollam). This place also had a historic movement, Attingal Revolution was the first revolution against the British East India Company. This place is also well known for private education.
