This is walking country. The countryside is the attraction, with rolling hills and beautiful rural scenes all around you. The Offa's Dyke Path runs north to south across the area from Knighton in Powys through to Montgomery (also in Powys) across the westerly bulge of Shropshire to the west of Craven Arms.
