Bryn Mawr

‘Bryn Mawr’ is Welsh for ‘big hill’. It is home to Bryn Mawr College, one of the country’s top women’s schools.

Bryn Mawr can be accessed from Philadelphia by bus (via 69th St. Station), regional rail (via the Paoli-Thorndale line), or on the Norristown High-Speed Line (the purple line). It is also drivable.

The Bryn Mawr Film Institute is a beautiful, restored, historic movie theaterKid's Saturday matinees and cult classic midnight movies run September-May. Theatre is open daily afternoons and evenings.
