Hornbrook is a town of 266 people (2020) in Siskiyou County in California, along I-5 just south of the Oregon border.

  • Cole is a ghost town 9 miles (14 km) north of Hornbrook off I-5 on Hilt Road. The town is named after Bryon Cole whom him and his brother Rufus Cole owned a land claim donation near the Oregon-California border called Cole's. In 1859 he sold his claim and moved to White Point later named Colestin. There is not much to do except see the original Cole's Stage Coach Station and SP Railroad.
