Islas Secas is an island in the Gulf of Chiriquí in the Pacific West of Panama.

Islas Secas is located 25 km south east of Boca Chica.

Get in

The island can be accessed by boat from Boca Chica.

By plane

There is an Islas Secas private plane, leaving from Tocumen, Panama’s International airport or Albrook Field. Secas flights can be coordinated with International arrivals at Tocumen. However, the transfer on the resort’s aircraft is an additional $400 roundtrip from Panama to Islas Secas and back.

Get around

The island can be assessed by the resort's boat called the Betty Fae, named after a popular soap opera character.

See and do

The diving around the islands offers very good visibility during the dry months and is home to many fish that flock around the rocky and coral outcrops and also form large schools. White-tip sharks, rays and turtles are seen frequently as are free swimming moray eels, lobster and nudibranchs. Humpback whales can be seen around these islands at a certain time of year.
