Khir Ganga

Khir Ganga is a village in Central Himachal Pradesh.

Khir Ganga is a temporary village set up throughout the summers in Himachal Pradesh. It is only accessible by foot (2- to 4-hour hike). It is a beautiful day hike on a narrow cliff side path going by numerous waterfalls and few isolated villages. There are usually about 30-50 people at the village site during the high season.

Get in

From Manikaran take a bus or taxi to Bersani.

Get around

Foot, donkey, or horse. No vehicles are able to make it to this spot.

See

Sit in a natural hot spring and enjoy the dramatic scenery of the valley.

Visit the small temple by the hot spring.

Buy

Before start your trekking must buy trekking shoes, walking support stick, and Poncho (raincoat).

Sleep

Rooms are available without booking in advance and run about ₹200 a night.
