La Montaña
La Montaña is the central, mountainous region of Puerto Rico. The Cordillera Central (English: Central Mountain Range), the main mountain range in Puerto Rico, crosses the island from west to east through the region and divides the island into northern and southern coastal plains.

Visiting the various mountain areas is not something that can be comfortably done in one day. Consider hiring a local driver if you have never driven a car in Puerto Rico.
