Liuboml

Liuboml (Ukrainian: Любомль) is a small town in Volyn Oblast of Western Ukraine.

Understand

Between the World Wars, Liuboml was under Polish control. Prior to the Holocaust, the town had the highest percentage of Jewish people (94%) of anywhere in Poland.

Prior to its destruction in the 1940s, the Grand Synagogue was one of the main attractions in Liuboml.
