There is one daily Amtrak Amtrak train serving Newton via the Southwest Chief route between Chicago and Los Angeles. Inconveniently, trains in both directions arrive around 3AM meaning that you likely will have to arrange transport or accommodation beforehand. A Thruway bus service is timed with the train for connections to and from Wichita and Oklahoma City. 🌍 Newton station is located right in downtown, at 414 N Main St.

  • Wichita Mid-Continent Airport (ICT IATA) located 53 km (33 mi) south of Newton, is the nearest commercial airport. Regular flights are available to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Phoenix. Car rental is available.

By bus

  • The Beeline express links Newton with Wichita and Salina. Through ticketing is available for Greyhound passengers and tickets can be purchased on Greyhound.com. The bus station is located at 1608 East 1st Street.
