Pella (Iowa)
Pella is a town in Central Iowa.
Understand
Established in 1847 by a group of 800 Dutch immigrants, this small town prides itself in its Dutch heritage, which is now the main reason for visitors to come here. Pella, a small town, is home to about 10.300 people, as well as to the Pella Corporation and Vermeer Manufacturing Co.

Most people drive, but if you have your own plane, you could fly into the local airport.

- Tulip Time Festival. The largest festival in Pella is in early May. There is a show, parade and tours celebrating their Dutch heritage.

There's an indoor swimming pool, a fitness studio, free WiFi and coffee making facilities in the room. $110.
- Royal Amsterdam Hotel. While its classical style may look old-fashioned, this pleasant hotel the city centre is not actually all that old. Opened in 2001, it has friendly staff, and the restaurant gets good reviews too. $130.
