By car

The CA-57 Orange freeway runs north-south through the city. The CA-91 Riverside freeway is only a mile south of the city and runs east-west.

By bus

Orange County Transportation Authority offers bus service.

Get around

The only reliable way to get around Placentia is by car. Buses are notoriously slow and have few stops, and because of this, few locals use them regularly, causing a vicious cycle in which this leads to services being only minimally offered.

  • Old Town Placentia. Site where the city was born. Includes a lot of buildings from the early 1920s. Also home to several popular Mexican restaurants.
