Police (Poland)

Police is a town in the Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship in northwestern Poland. The town is located a few kilometers north of regional capital Szczecin. It is a rather industrial town with few things of interest, but there are a few beautiful places for those who are interested. Unrelated to law enforcement, despite the name.

By plane

  • Solidarity Szczecin–Goleniów Airport (SZZ IATA). The closest airport to Police although with a rather limited number of destinations. It is located approximately 60km by car from Police because there is no bridge crossing the river near Police.

By train

The 🌍 Police train station (address: ul. Stefana Batorego) is a rather small train station.

  • 🌍 Augustinian Monastery ruins. The Gothic ruins are what remains of a medieval Augustinian monastery that was founded in the 16th century at the bank of the Gunica river.
