Praia da Vitória is a city and municipality on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal.

Praia da Vitória (PRIGH-uh duh vee-TAW-ree-uh, /ˈpɾaj.ɐ dɐ vi.ˈtɔ.ɾi.ɐ/) municipality has 21,035 residents (2011). It takes up the northeastern portion of Terceira Island (about 40% of its area), which it shares with Angra do Heroísmo. The city's name means "Victory Beach".

  • 🌍 Igreja do Senhor Santo Cristo (Igreja da Misericórdia), Rua da Misericórdia 11. This lovely church was built in 1521, destroyed by fire in 1921, and rebuilt in 1924. It was restored after a 1980 earthquake.
