Sandvika

Sandvika is the administrative center of the municipality of Bærum. It is located in the Viken county in Norway, approximately 10 kilometers west of downtown Oslo.

By rail

Between Oslo and Sandvika, there are regional train departures every 10 minutes, and a separate L1 line that also goes via Stabekk, Høvik, and Blommenholm before Sandvika four times per hour.

By bus

There are several buses that go from Oslo to Sandvika, such as 130 Skøyen-Sandvika and 160 Oslo bus terminal-Sandvika-Rykkinn.

By car

Following the E18 highway, you can easily travel by car from Oslo or Asker, the two neighbouring places.

Get around

The city centre is quite small so you can easily walk around. However, a car or a bicycle might be useful. In Sandvika, and the entirety of Bærum, there are several electrick scooters from Voi, Tier, and more.

Next to Sandvika Storsenter, there is the Thon hotel. However, there are not many more hotels and inns in Sandvika.
