Santa Clara Valley

The Santa Clara Valley is a rural, mainly agricultural, valley in Ventura County. Santa Clara Valley was known as "the Valley of Heart's Delight" for its high concentration of orchards, flowering trees and plants.

  • Route 126 - the main E-W highway serving the valley.
  • Route 150 - a minor E-W highway connecting Ojai to the valley.
  • Route 23 - a minor N-S highway connecting Fillmore to the Conejo Valley.

See

  • 🌍 Rancho Camulos, Piru (on Highway 126, 2 miles east of Piru), +1 805 521-1501. A national historic landmark that is a working ranch, and a prime example of an early California rancho in its original rural setting. Many of the buildings and grounds are open to the public as a museum of this period in California history. Adult $5, child $3.
