  • Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage Sites: a multi-site pilgrimage of 88 temples associated with the Buddhist monk Kūkai (Kōbō Daishi).
    • Shidoji Temple. 86th site.
    • Nagao Temple (長尾寺), 653 Nagaonishi. 87th site.
    • 🌍 Okubo-ji Temple (大窪寺), 96 Tawakanewari. 88th site. A temple of the Shingon sect Daikakuji sect.
  • Matsubara of Tsuda (Kotobayashi Park, 琴林公園) (10 minutes walk from Sanuki-Tsuda Station on the JR Kotoku Line). One of Japan's "100 best white sand and green pine trees" sites. The beach beyond Matsubara is beautiful and attracts many swimmers in the summer.
  • 🌍 Tomita Chausan Tomb (富田茶臼山古墳), 3402-3 Tomidanaka, Okawa-machi. The largest tumulus in the Shikoku region. It is estimated to have been built around the first half of the 5th century CE.

  • Yakushiyu Onsen (薬師湯温泉), Tawatakeyashiki (Nagao Station (長尾駅), then community bus 30 minutes). A cold mineral spring that springs from the Tawatakeyashiki. Because the source temperature is low, a heating/circulation filtration method is used.

Parks

  • 🌍 Miroku Nature Park (みろく自然公園), 3286 Tomidanaka, Okawa-machi. At the northern foot of the Sanuki Mountains in the Okawa district of Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. There are sports facilities, leisure facilities, and accommodation facilities. There is a roadside station Miroku in a nearby facility.
  • Prefectural Kamezuru Park (香川県立亀鶴公園) (Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad Nagaosen Nagao Station, or Zoda Station on the JR Shikoku Kotoku Line). Including the hills around the park, the area is about 33 ha. On the site, there are " Sakura Namiki" and "Iris Garden", as well as "Kameshima", which is rich in natural forests where more than 300 tree species have been confirmed. It is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in the Tosan region. Especially, the embankment connecting the Kameshima side and the Usa shrine side is 20 m wide and 300 m long, and about 300 cherry trees (Yoshino cherry tree) are planted on both sides.
