Smith and Ross Islands are in the Andaman Islands of India.

It is questionable whether it's legal to visit these islands, although it has been in the past, and day trips were easily arranged from Diglipur.

  • There is a lighthouse on Ross Island that was commissioned in 1973. It sits on the slope of Bopung Hill at an altitude of 40 metres (130 feet).
  • Smith Island is home to the Olive Ridley turtles. If you are there at the right time, you can see the turtles nesting.
