Sobrance

Sobrance is a town of 6,000 people (2021) in Lower Zemplín, and the easternmost town in Slovakia.

  • 🌍 Museum of guitar (Gitarove muzeum), +421 902 37 09 09. The shown collection includes more than 200 guitars (out of 1000 in total), mainly from the period of 1947–1980. Perhaps the most valuable guitar is a Resonet Grazioso/Futurama from early in the career of George Harrison.
  • An Eastern Catholic Church of the Holy Seven Slavonic Saints (Sedmočislenici) is a modern church building based on traditional Byzantine architecture models.
