Tåsinge

Tåsinge, also spelled Taasinge, is an island in the South Funen Archipelago in Denmark, just south of Funen. The island is 70 square kilometres, inhabited by around 6,000 people.

Kaldetmose, essentially a suburb of Svendborg, is the largest settlement.

Road 9 runs between Funen across Tåsinge to Langeland.

Valdemar Castle (5 km out on the island of Tåsinge). May to September. Beautiful late baroque palace from 1639. Adult: DKK 85.
