Tete is in Central Mozambique.

Tete is a city which is growing rapidly because of mining in the area. Most people use it as a stop-off to or from Malawi overland.

  • Born E Jesus Campsite (Follow the signs before the bridge into Tete.). The campsite is on the Zambezi river. The camp site is not fenced off so security should be a concern. MT 500 (in 2018).

There are a few internet cafes in town or you can alternatively buy a 3G SIM for your mobile or dongle from Vodacom or mCel.
