Wybunbury (pronounced Winds-bury in local accent) is a village about four miles from the railway town of Crewe, so is a popular destination for people who want to be near the railway but still want a quiet "family holiday" or day away from the hustle and bustle of the urban area.

By rail, take the railway to Crewe, and book either a taxi or take the bus to Wybunbury.

Lots of dairy and beef farms in the area, so plenty of rural scenery.
- 🌍 Wybunbury Moss National Nature Reserve.
- 🌍 St Chad's Church. Only the tower remains of this church which can trace its history back to the Domesday Book of 1086. The 29.3 m (96 ft) tower was built in the 15th century and was seen to been leaning in 1750. In 1833 the church building was demolished and the tower was stabilised by removing soil from the higher side.
- Fig Pie Wakes. From 1pm with pie rolling at 3pm. Annual event where villagers roll specially-made fig pies down the village's hill

As a traditional rural village, there is plenty of sight seeing. A simple camera or smartphone can capture the local farms and wildlife quite easily.

There are local co-op shops in the village, to buy everyday essentials such as the newspaper and drinks. There is also a post office to deliver mail.
